Ustaad Aashiq Ali Mir is a classically trained virtuoso tabla nawaz. Aashiq has performed and recorded with some of the world’s greatest musicians including Mehdi Hasan, Roshan Ara Begum and A-Ha. He has been with Salman Ahmad and Junoon since inception of the band has played on all 7 studio album including touring with the band all across the world. His mastery over the tabla has allowed him to create the trademark Junoon percussion sound. He has also played stellar venues like Roskilde Music Festival (Denmark) and has also performed at the United Nation in New York.

Ustaad Aashiq Mir will be making his debut on Coke Studio, Season 10 as a part of Salman Ahmad’s phenomenal ensemble.
